Entry Bed Renovation

Highland Park entry bed before renovation — weeds covering the flagstone walk The same entry after renovation — black mulch, boxwood, hydrangeas
BeforeAfter

A full season of weeds had swallowed these beds — hostas buried, the walk disappearing. We cleared to clean soil, reshaped the lines, and replanted with four-season structure: boxwood for winter form, hydrangeas for summer bloom, and a black mulch finish that reads crisp from the street.

Front Yard Refresh

A healthy lawn undermined by the details: weed-choked tree rings, tired bed lines, shrubs losing their shape. We re-cut the rings, cleared and mulched every bed, and brought the shrubs back to clean form — the difference between a yard that's mowed and a property that's maintained.

After — mulched ring, dressed beds, shaped shrubs

Exterior Soft Wash

Years of algae had turned this home's white siding green-grey. A controlled soft wash brought the full face of the house back — siding, brick, and trim — without damaging paint or the plantings below.

After — uniformly clean white siding

Paver Patio & Inlay Steps

From spray-paint layout to finished floor: a full paver patio with a contrasting double border, custom inlay steps, and fresh sod knitting it back into the lawn. Proper excavation and compacted base work underneath — built for freeze-thaw, not just for the photo.

Fire-Pit Patio & Retaining Wall

A sloped, plain back lawn became a destination: we cut the grade, built a curved block retaining wall, compacted a full gravel base, and laid a circular paver patio sized for a fire pit. Before, during, and after — because the part you never see is the part that makes it last.

Walkway & Side Patio

A tired backyard path and a cluttered side yard, rebuilt as one connected route: a paver walkway from the sidewalk to the door, wrapping the foundation into a clean side patio — with the beds stripped and prepped for replanting.

Bed Renovation in Red

Stripped to clean soil, re-lined against the cobblestone edge, and finished in red mulch with the plantings given room to breathe. Same bed, one visit apart.
